Objectives
- Development of scientific and professional manpower through research programmes leading to
the award of Ph.D. degree in the areas of Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Dental Sciences, Genetics,
Microbiology, Nursing Sciences, Health Sciences and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Participation in collaborative research programmes with other eminent organizations in India and abroad.
- Secure and channelize research grants from various funding agencies.

Facilities:
The centre is located within the premises of Adesh Hospital having access to all health care facilities and
IPDs. The laboratories are well equipped to handle human karyotyping work, animal and human cell
culture, pathogen culture and genotyping, molecular diagnostics etc. An animal house for in vivo
experimental work is available.
