Department of Management & Hospital Administration

Adesh University started the Department of Management and Hospital Administration (DMHA) in 2016 with a view to develop professionals in the field of Hospital Administration to offer intensive training in the operational and administrative areas of the Hospital to equip them with the management skills like planning, organizing and decision making.

We groom future leaders by following a judicious blend of theory and practice, using highly innovative teaching pedagogy. The Department offers following programmes in Hospital Administration :

- MBA in Hospital Administration (Full Time) Programme
- MBA in Hospital Administration (Part Time) Programme
- Post Graduate Programme in Hospital Administration (for Executives)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Administration (PGDHA)

Programmes

1. MBA in Hospital Administration (Full Time) Programme

- Duration: The duration of the programme will be 2 years (Four semesters).

- Eligibility criteria: Bachelor degree in Medicine & Surgery, Dental Sciences, Veterinary Sciences, Ayurvedic Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing Sciences or any other stream from an Indian University or a foreign University with minimum 40 % marks or equivalent CGPA.

2. MBA in Hospital Administration (Part Time) Programme

- Duration: The duration of the programme will be 3 years (Six semesters).

- Eligibility criteria: Bachelor degree in Medicine & Surgery, Dental Sciences, Veterinary Sciences, Ayurvedic Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing Sciences or any other stream from an Indian University or a foreign University with minimum 40 % marks or equivalent CGPA.

3. Post Graduate Programme in Hospital Administration (for Executives)

- Duration: The duration of the programme will be 1 year (Two semesters).

- Eligibility criteria: Candidates who have passed Bachelor Degree in any stream from an approved Board/University with minimum 40 % marks or equivalent CGPA shall be eligible for admission. The candidate must have 3 years experience as an executive in any Govt./Public/Private sector undertaking.

4. Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Administration (PGDHA)

- Duration: The duration of the programme will be 1 year (Two semesters).

- Eligibility Criteria: Candidates who have passed Bachelor Degree in any stream from an approved Board/University with minimum 40 % marks or equivalent CGPA shall be eligible for admission.

DMHA has well-equipped lecture and seminar halls, with state-of-the-art facilities, creating a fine ambience in which students hone their business acumen through presentations and seminars.
